SASIHC has developed a Financial Management Policy and Procedure Manual which were approved by the Board of Directors and submitted to the SHRA as part of the accreditation application process.

The financial function at SAIHC entails:

• Compilation of the Annual Budget for approval by the Board of Directors
• Estimation of capital requirements for SASIHC
• Determination of capital composition
• Choice of sources of funds (debt, equity, etc)
• Investment of surplus funds
• Management of cash
• Implementation of financial controls
• Acquisition and disposal of assets
